Ohori Park
大濠公園
This large park in the center of the city was originally part of the moat for Fukuoka Castle. The main park surrounds a large pond with three islands connected by bridges. At the south end of the park is a classical Japanese Garden, comprised of small hills, groves of trees, and ponds, and a traditional teahouse. English language pamphlets are available.
