Kominka Villa Antage
古民家ヴィラあんたげ
Toho village, located in Asakura, Fukuoka Prefecture, is home to the Take Rice Terraces. Iwaya overlooks this incredible 400-year-old landscape consisting of 400 terraced rice paddies, making its way to being named one of Japan's 100 best-terraced rice paddies. Overlooking the view is Kominka Villa Antage, a 132-year-old traditional Japanese house renovated as an inn. The interior of the building features large wooden beams, a vaulted ceiling, an elevated Japanese-style room, a wood-floored bedroom, a kitchen, and a bath. This inn combines comfort and the atmosphere of an old home. Visitors also can order rural cooking that uses plenty of local ingredients.
