The Ebino Highlands Crater Lake Course is one of the trekking courses in Kirishima-Kinkowan National Park, which straddles Miyazaki and Kagoshima prefectures. The course offers a magnificent natural environment rich with seasonal changes, where you can hear the occasional call of the Ebino Kogen wild deer. The Ebino Highlands Crater Lake Course around the three crater lakes (Byakushiike, Rokkannon-Mikke, and Fudoike) is a trekking course that takes about two hours to complete while enjoying the scenic views of each lake. On the summit of Shirotoriyama, a shallow crater 600 meters in diameter offers a panoramic view of Sakurajima to the south and an up-close view of Mt Karakuni.
