At the two hidden hot springs in Minamiaso, "Jigoku Onsen" and "Tarutama Onsen," you can spend a peaceful time in a place where you can feel tradition and novelty mix. Jigoku Onsen consists of three hot springs, including "Suzume no Yu," a miraculous hot spring where you can directly enter the source of the hotspring, as well as lodging facilities, rest facilities, and a restaurant. It proposes "Neo Toji" a new type of therapeutic baths where visitors can relax and cure both bodies and souls in nature. Tarutama Onsen Takibiyori, symbolized by a majestic waterfall named "Kinryu no Taki," consists of a large bath, a private bath, and a rest area. The famous geothermal steaming allows visitors to steam local vegetables and eggs by themselves and experience the energy of the earth up close.
